Virgin coconut oil for nutrition
Some of our customers use Coconoil as a daily supplement, taking one or two tablespoons a day, but there is a host of other ways to get the same health benefits:
- Use Coconoil instead of olive oil, butter or cooking fat when frying, browning and roasting
- Baking911.com suggests using Virgin Coconut Oil as a substitute for hard butter or fat in baking recipes (use 3/4 amount of coconut oil as butter)
- Use as a base for a curry dish
- Flavour boiled or stir-fry vegetables with a knob of Coconoil
- Try instead of butter on a baked potato
- Use as an ingredient for delicious ice cream
- Replace some of the fats in cakes and biscuits
- Drizzle liquid Coconoil on to salads
- Serve in smoothies or try in a hot drink
- Spread on to crackers or toast or whatever you fancy
- Coconoil is great with jam, cream cheese or tasty dips!
